The Power Mile Road Race is the 2024 RRCA Louisiana One Mile State Championship and is an evening of spectator-friendly road racing for all ages and abilities organized and directed by the Power Miler Track Club in New Orleans, Louisiana. It is the premier road mile in the Gulf South.
The 2023 event raised over $12,000 for charity and brought more than 500 participants, volunteers, and spectators to West End Park to enjoy the race and festivities. Our goal is to double those numbers this year, while maintaining the high standards of quality and family-friendliness of the event that we have brought each year. We hope that you are on board to help us reach this year's goal!
The Power Mile is returning to West End Park in 2024! The course is flat, fast, and enjoyable for both runners and spectators alike. Enjoy beautiful sunset views, food and a frosty beverage post-race along Lake Pontchartrain.
Back by popular demand....sub-7 minute race posters! That's right...run under 7 minutes in the mile and you can take home our official race poster - you earned it!
This year the Power Milers have teamed up with Youth Run NOLA as charitable beneficiaries. We are huge fans of Youth Run NOLA and love everything they do to guide the youth of the New Orleans area. Please join us for another great year at The Power Mile!!
