Sub-events Details
Individual 5K Walk/Run
Team of 5 or More
The Ordner Construction Run 4A Reason 5K walk/run welcomes all individuals, families, children, and family pets in a 5K walk/run benefitting Rainbow Village Inc., Family Promise of Gwinnett County, and Gwinnett County Fire and Police Services. It is Ordner's joy to host this year's 12th annual race. This year's goal is to exceed the $56K we raised last year to support these wonderful organizations and help end homelessness in Duluth, GA, and Gwinnett County. Families and groups of all ages are welcome. Many exciting activities will be held, including yard games, temporary tattoos, a bounce house, food trucks, music, and more. The 5-loop course is USATF certified (GA21003DJ), and finish times may be used as a Peachtree Qualifier. In addition to age group categories, awards will be given to teams of 5 or more, including the Most Spirited Team and the Largest Team (# of participants). Be sure to bring your furry companion, as we welcome family pets in the race participation.
Morning 95.5 WSB news anchor and morning personality Scott Slade is the annual emcee for the event. Scott is a rare two-time winner of the National Association of Broadcasters Marconi Award as Best Radio Personality in America in both major and large markets.
