Not Just For Runners - 5K | 1-Mile | Health Fair

CULTIVATING HEALTH AND COMMUNITY, ONE EVENT AT A TIME!

Come walk, jog, skip, run or roll and join us for the inaugural hosting of "Not Just For Runners” (NJ4R). NJ4R is a community event for all physical abilities, created to bolster physical and mental health in communities that identify as Black, Indigenous and People of Color (BIPOC). REI is the presenting sponsor for this event, and the event will include a 5K and 1-mile event, followed by a health and wellness fair.

OPENING CEREMONY STARTS AT 8:45AM

5K & 1-MILE EVENT STARTS AT 9:00AM and includes event timing, a swag bag, a finishers medal, a stocked aid station and lots of energy. Registration is required. Bib pick will be held from 7:30am-8:45am at Garcia Bend Park on the day of the event.

HEALTH, WELLNESS & ARTS FAIR FROM 9:00AM - 3:00PM will consist of sponsor and vendor tables, free community classes offered by local health, fitness and wellness service providers, along with the presentation of art activities as a means of stress release and enjoyment. The health fair is free and open to the public.
