We've partnered with a local race company again this year to provide chip timing for the 5k. We kept the registration fee to a minimum just to cover costs (timing and shirt) and still have a free option. This is a fundraising event and we will be asking for donations for the local charity (either through registration or on race day). 

Please register everyone who will be participating so we can plan the event accordingly (ie. kids fun run has finisher medals for all so we need to know how many kids will be there).

You must register by November 11th to be guaranteed a shirt.

Online registration closes November 25th. 

Event details:

7:00am - Packet pick-up 

8:00am - Kids fun run

8:30am - 5k (Timed and non-timed)

 

Cost: 

*Please note: there are the two registration options for the 5K ("all in" with shirt and timing for $20, or free without timing or shirt). If you want a shirt, register for the timed 5K.

Timed (chipped race) 5k with shirt: $20

Non-Timed 5k (no shirt): $0 

Kids Fun Run: $0 (can add a shirt for $10)

 

Benefactors:

100% of proceeds will go to the local charity, A Giving Spirit Foundation.

A Giving Spirit Foundation is a Lake Norman based charity that provides financial assistance to Charlotte-area mothers facing a medical crises.  Since 2008, AGSF has provided nearly $400,000 in grants to help women pay for family expenses such as medical bills, utilities, groceries, and rent.  We are an entirely volunteer based organization and are thankful for the support of our local community to help these moms in need!

• Kids Fun Run: all runners receive a finisher medal

• Timed 5k: 1st Place Overall Male and Female 

  • Age Groups Male and Female: 7 & under, 8-14, 15-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70+

 

5k Course Description:

Start at Club Entrance on Northstone Drive, proceed around the Northstone Drive circle to Cadgwith Cove, then turn right on Northstone Drive to Willington Drive. Proceed down Willingdon, and turn around at Ulsten Dr. and back down to Willington Dr. and back to Club Entrance on Northstone Dr.
