Join New Jersey Motorsports Park and Second Capital Running for the first ever NJMP Charity Challenge

The first of many in a new series coming 2023!

How fast can you complete the famous 1.9 mile Lightning Raceway at NJMP on foot? Find out at this inaugural race and take your shot at the top of the leaderboard for your category! Awards to the top 3 M/F Overall and in age groups: 10 & Under, 11-14, 15-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60+. The course is entirely on the Lightning Raceway. We will have a classic NJMP start on the line - Flags and all! Walkers are welcome too! Please sign up for the Walk option.

After Party at Finish Line Pub

Runners are invited back to the Finish Line Pub for the awards ceremony and after party, featuring live music and drink specials for participants!

Proceeds from the NJMP Charity Challenge support the City of Millville Police Athletic League. The Millville Police Athletic League (PAL) offer youth the opportunity to interact with Millville New Jersey Police Officers and create positive relationships by participating in cultural, character development, and sports activities. With their assistance and support, the goal of the Millville PAL is to reduce juvenile crime and victimization throughout the entire city. Programs and activities are designed to instill values of integrity, responsibility, self-motivation, and teamwork, with the result of improving the quality of life for at-risk youth.

New Jersey Motorsports Park is the premier motorsports entertainment complex in the Northeast. The park includes two world-class road courses, Thunderbolt and Lightning, in addition to Tempest Raceway, one of the top outdoor karting complexes in the U.S. Millville has been the home of NJMP for over 14 years and we are excited to bring a new kind of event that gives back to our home town and energizes the community.

Second Capital Running is a boutique racing company operated out of Vineland, NJ since 2018 and is honored to work alongside NJMP to bring another iconic event to Cumberland County.
