Qualifying Windows:

Boston 2026: Beginning September 1, 2024. (End date still TBA.) If you have a qualifying time, you can register for the 2026 race on the B.A.A. site.

Boston 2027: Beginning September 1, 2025

MARATHON

4:00 – 4:30 AM: You must be at bus loading location by 4:15 AM to guarantee transportation to the start. If you miss the bus, you forfeit your registration and ability to run the race, so please be prompt. THERE IS NO SELF-TRANSPORTATION TO THE START.

HALF MARATHON

4:30 – 5:30 AM: You must be at bus loading location by 5:15 AM to guarantee transportation to the start. If you miss the bus, you forfeit your registration and ability to run the race, so please be prompt. THERE IS NO SELF-TRANSPORTATION TO THE START.

10K

5:45 – 6:15 AM: You must be at bus loading location by 6:00 AM to guarantee transportation to the start. If you miss the bus, you forfeit your registration and ability to run the race, so please be prompt. THERE IS NO SELF-TRANSPORTATION TO THE START.

We know it’s early, but please make every effort to arrive early with time to spare so that the race can start on time. Being early (and having your bib in hand) will allow you to have less stress finding your bus, more time to prep for your race, enjoy the cool mountain air, access porta-potties first, use the bag drop, and participate in any early morning fun!

COURSE: To watch and support your runners along the course, please find a viewing area that allows you to drive and park without interfering with the runners. Please park in designated parking lots and not along the course/runner’s path.

FINISH LINE: Cheer on your runners along the fencing leading up to the finish line and after the come out in the finish area. The corral area directly after the finish line is for runners only. Please refrain from entering this area so all of our participants are able to get their professional photos, finisher medals, and post race food before exiting and joining you to celebrate in the finish area.

MARATHONERS: A true canyon marathon with 25 miles of the race in Payson Canyon! You won’t find a more beautiful race. The staggering 4,561’ elevation drop will provide panoramic views of Mount Nebo, the Utah Valley, and Utah Lake far below. There are a few hills in the first half of the course. However, the last 16 miles are completely downhill, which makes this a super-fast course!

 

PLUS —  this race is timed perfectly just one week before the Boston Marathon qualifying window closes for the 2026 race and also the beginning of the qualifying period for 2027!

HALF MARATHONERS: NEBO is one of the fastest half marathon races in Utah, with 12 beautiful miles down Payson Canyon. Experience scenic views and a wide course that starts just past Payson Lakes — a peaceful, local treasure tucked into Payson Fork Canyon.

 

10K RUNNERS: Another one of Utah's fastest courses with beautiful miles down Payson Canyon. Experience scenic views and a wide course that starts at Camp Maple Dell.

 

5K RUNNERS: Set a new PR on this fast course, starting and finishing at Payson's historic Memorial Park.
