Event details

Come and enjoy running or walking on a Thursday evening through scenic Fowler, Michigan neighborhoods and on the rail trail as part of the Most Holy Trinity (MHT) church festival weekend! The 5K start and finish will be near MHT and strollers are welcome. The 5K cost includes a t-shirt (guaranteed for those registering at least 3 weeks before the race), post-race snacks, and awards which will be given out immediately following the race. Extra t-shirts are available to order for $10. All race proceeds will go to MHT. The 5K will be good for seasoned running veterans as well as casual runners or walkers looking to get some morning exercise. Race day registration will be available.

This year we will again offer a free kid's dash, but due to the late start time, we will do the Kids Dash BEFORE the 5K race starts around 7:15pm. The kids dash will be about 200 meters and will finish in front of the MHT church. You do not need to register to participate in the kid's dash. Extra youth and adult shirts are available to order for $10 within the normal online 5K registration process. If you would like to order shirts but are not registering for the 5K, please do so by contacting the race director using the "Race Contact Info" section below. (You must order extra t-shirts at least 3 weeks prior to the race.)

A map of this year's course is included below. The course will be well marked with signs. Participants will start running north on Maple Street near Kent St and will turn left on Blue Spruce Drive. Participants will continue around the circle. After turning around after the circle, participants will return to Maple Street and then turn right on Kent St in front of the MHT church. They will continue west on Kent St and then take the curve at the end of Kent St to continue down Pine Street, Clinton Street, and Henderson Street to the rail trail. After heading west down the rail trail, participants will turn around to the east and return directly back to the MHT church for the finish.
