Join Us for the 3rd Annual Moon Valley Strides for Schools 5K & Kids Dash!

Lookout Mountain PTO, Mountain Sky PTO, and Thunderbird TPA are thrilled to host the Moon Valley Strides for Schools 5K and Kids Dash on Saturday, March 28, 2026!

This family-friendly event brings together the entire Moon Valley community for a morning of fitness, fun, and school spirit, all while raising funds to support our three local schools. Everyone is welcome to participate: walkers, runners, students, parents, neighbors, and friends!

🏃‍♀️ 5K Walk/Run
Enjoy a beautiful course through the Moon Valley neighborhood. 

👟 Kids Dash
A fun, age-based dash for students in grades K–8.

🎪 Activity Fair
Games, crafts, and hands-on activities for kids 16 and under.

🎟️ Raffle Fun!
Enter to win great prizes in themed categories like Family Fun, Foodie Favorites, Pamper & Relax, and Fitness & Adventure!

💙 Sponsor a Student – Want to make a difference? Donate $20 to Sponsor a Student and provide a free race registration for a local student to participate. It’s an easy way to help every child join the fun!

The event starts and ends at Moon Valley Park, where the Activity Fair and Kids Dash will take place.

6:30AM Race Check In Opens
7:10AM Warm Up for 5K 
7:30AM 5K Start Time (Runners first, then walkers)
8:30AM Kids Dash - K and under - 2 laps
8:45AM Kids Dash - 1st - 4th grade - 4 laps
9:00AM Kids Dash - 5th and up - 6 laps

7AM TO 10AM Activity Fair is Open for All Participants 16 Years and Younger!
