Join us for a unique and exciting event that doubles as a scavenger hunt race to discover Jenna Horner's murals throughout the city of Gainesville! Runners will compete in teams of 3-10 people to run or walk around downtown Gainesville, locating up to seven murals, traveling roughly 5k, and taking fun photos along the way. You can sign up with your friends and bring your Team or join a team on race day! *Runners without a team will be assigned to teams that run or walk around their desired pace. *All runners under 16 years old must be accompanied by a guardian. 

 

Enoch Nadler, two-time Olympic Marathon Trials Qualifier, former Florida Gator runner, and head coach of Team Florida Track Club, will be leading this event on the mic, organizing the happenings to help make this a top-notch running experience! 

 

How it works: 

Sign up for the mural run, and either bring friends for your teammates or show up, and you'll be assigned to a team with other runners around your pace. Teams must run or walk together to the locations distributed at the race to find the murals. One phone will be used per Team to help navigate and take photos of the Team in front of each mural. These photos will be posted in a run WhatsApp group along the way so teams can see the fun and prove their locations.

2:00 PM - Registration Closes 

2:00-2:30 PM - Instructions and team up strategy meeting 

2:30-3:30 PM - 5k Run/Walk to Murals around town with your team 

3:30-4:00 PM - Awards, photos, and drink/eat with friends 

 

Awards will be given in the following categories:

Top Team with 3-5 members. 

Top Team with 6-10 members. 

Top Team all women. 

Top Team all men. 

Team that had the most fun/style.
