Join us for another year of the Midway Shelter Winter run and walk. This event takes place this year at the Harbor Bay Ferry Terminal in Alameda on Bay Farm Island and supports a great cause. The run will take you along the beautiful shoreline of Bay Farm Island and is a flat out and back with views of San Francisco and the Alameda Main Island. 

There is a 5k (3.1 mile) and a longer 10K (6.2 mile) option. Portions of the course will be on Harbor Bay Parkway and the remainder on the asphalt trails. 

The Kids run will be a 1/2 mile course open to children 11 and under and will start at 9:45am. Look for the kids run category at registration.

There is plenty of parking at the Ferry terminal and we will have snacks and drinks when the race is over as well as beer from Faction brewery.

  • 7:30am ~ raceday registration opens
    8:30am ~ 10K race starts
  • 8:45am ~ 5k race starts
    9:45am ~ kids 1/2 mile run starts : dependent on the conclusion of the 5k/10k 
    9:45am ~ 5k and 10k awards are available
