Middlefield Miler
A summer evening race in elusive Middlefield!
This is a “no frills” 1.2 mile, hand-timed race along the walking path at Peckham Park in Middlefield. Each runner will run or walk two laps on the 0.6 mile path.
Due to the narrow track (covered in crushed stone, not paved), there will be 4 waves, with a limit of 20 runners per wave. Waves will start at 5, 5:30, 6 and 6:30.
There is plenty of parking at Peckham Park (beware of potholes in the unpaved parking lot). Please watch for and be respectful of persons using other parts of the park, such as the playscape and ballfields.
Meet at the pavilion to check in. There are flush toilets on site, but since this park relies a septic system, please try to take care of business ahead of time ;-)
Any monies raised from the $20 entry fee will go to funding the invaluable programs of Middlefield Parks and Recreation.
Registration online only, NO in-person registration.
