Make-It-A-Mile
Make it a Mile is a four-week program designed to help beginning runners and walkers take the first steps toward getting healthy. This program includes a safe, guided training plan designed to allow you to work at your own pace in a non-threatening, non-judgmental environment. This is a beginner walking or walk/run program but can also be used as a jump-start for other fitness goals you may have.
Program Details:
- Group workouts twice a week - Mondays/Wednesdays at 5:30PM
- Start Date: Monday, March 18
- Program Dates: March 18th, 20th, 25th, and 27th and April 1st, 3rd, 8th, and 10th
- Location: Ogden YMCA and Valley Tennis Center, 720 Shady Ln, in Neenah
As part of the program, participants will receive the following:
- 4-week training schedule;
- Coach-led workouts on Monday and Wednesdays evenings;
- Weekly emails with training tips, nutrition and more;
- Shopping Specials at Fleet Feet; and more!
Commitment: 4 weeks, 8 group workouts
