About This Event:

The Lucky Turkey 10k 5k is being run to fill the CANCELED 55th running of the classic Dowagiac All Trail Turkey Trot (Canceled due to snow last November).  The event will return to the trails of Southwestern Michigan College – Dowagiac campus. The 10K Run/Walk will start at 10:00 am, the 5K Run/Walk will start at 10:15 am and a kids fun run will start at 11:15 am. The race will use chip timing and all finishers who registered by March 5th will receive a long sleeve custom designed tech shirt at packet pickup. The event is hosted by Southwestern Michigan College and is being directed by Ron Gunn of Cairn Stone Adventure Tours.  [MAP TO PARKING]

Event Times:

• Early Packet Pickup - Friday, March 10th @ 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm (in the gym)
• Race Day Packet Pickup - Saturday, March 11th @ 8:30 am to 9:45 am, SMC Campus, Dailey Road, Dowagiac, MI 49047
• Race Time - 10:00 am
• 10K Starts at 10:00 am
• 5K Starts at 10:15 am  
• Kid's Fun Run at 11:15 am

Event Registration Fees:

Early Registration - $25.00 Until March 5th, 2021 (11:59 pm)
Late Registration - $30.00 March 6th (12:00 am) to March 11th (Closes at Race Time)

Tee Shirts:

 Tee Shirts are a custom long sleeve technical wicking fabric.  (Register by March 5, 2023 11:59 pm)

Awards:

Custom Medals awarded to first three finishers in each of following age divisions:

5K Run/Walk - 12 and Under, 13-15, 16-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70-79, 80 & Over

10K Run/Walk - 19 and Under, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70-79, 80 & Over

Timing and Scoring:

Timing and scoring will be provided by Mac's Sports Timing.  Results will be posted during the event.  Online results will be LIVE during the event.
