Race Info

The Live Well San Diego 5K, in partnership with 211 San Diego, is an all-inclusive, family-friendly event for all people of all ages and abilities. With a commitment to ensuring equitable and accessible participation, we welcome participants to run, walk, or roll (in strollers or mobility equipment only) the 5K course! We expect a large turnout on event day, so a first-come-first-serve wave start will be used. However, all 5K participants will be chip timed, so no matter when you start, your official time will only begin once you cross the starting line.

The Live Well San Diego 5K & 1-Mile Fun Run will be taking place on Sunday, September 17, 2023 at Waterfront Park in Downtown San Diego. The 5K will start at 7:30 am and the 1-Mile Fun Run will start at 9:00 am.

Fitness Challenge

To help you prepare to walk, run, or roll in the 5K, we created a month-long training schedule and ask Live Well San Diego Partners to host meet-ups throughout the month to help you get active and share a workout with others. Learn more by visiting the Fitness Challenge webpage.
