Sub-events Details
5k run
5K walk
Vermont Law School's chapter of Native American Law Society Association (NALSA) holding this event to fundraise money for the environmental justice crisis occurring in Western Alaska after a large typhoon devastated many communities: causing flooding, landslides, and coastal erosion. All money from the run will benefit indigenous communities in Western Alaska.
The 5k course will start behind the law school library. Then, the course will follow the White River on North Windsor out to the Royalton Bridge and back. The out and back course has rolling hills of pavement and dirt road with accompanying beautiful landscapes.
The first mile of the course is paved, after passing the railroad tracks on North Windsor the road is gravel.
10 dollar participation fee is recommended as donation, but additional donations are encouraged and will be accepted and appreciated! All money will go to supporting the land back effort.
