KGTMF 5K walk is in memory of Kenna Guda Tasissa whose life was unexpectedly cut short during the last semester of her college at Duke University. Kenna was suffering from depression that was poorly understood when she took her own life on January 21, 2021, at the age of 21.

The objective of this 5K walk is to raise awareness about the silent disease that takes too many young lives and to share information on available resources on mental health and suicide prevention. We greatly appreciate your participation and support.
