JZS Paws for a Cause is a 5K run that starts and ends in Biron besides many other fun activies.    

Date:  July 29, 2023
Time: Packet Pickup and late registration starts at 7:00 am
           Race starts at 9:00 am 

Awards: Age group awards will be presented following the conclusion of the race at 10:15 am.  

Location:  Biron Municipal Center, 451 Kahoun Road, Wisconsin Rapids, WI

Same Day Registration:   There will be same day registration, but it would be appreciated if you sign-up ahead of time online.   You avoid a longer line and will be ready to race sooner.   

What is Paws for a Cause?  A sick animal is every pet parent's worst nightmare.   If your pet receives a difficult diagnosis or unexpeccted illness, the last thing you should have to worry about is money.   So often, parents have to choose between a procedure they cannot afford or their pet's chance at a long life.  The Pet's Plus program is dedicated to keeping pets healthy and with their loving famlies by providing payment plans for emergency services, help with vet bills and food. 

What to Expect:   Besides the 5k run, there will be a market with 65 vendors, Biron Fire Department Brat Fry, kids carnival games, and music by Mary Cismoski.  Come for the run and stay for the fun.    

Pets:  Please refrain from bringing your pets to run as a precaution to the summer tempertures which can be a problem for dogs running.
