Fit, Black, and Educated, Inc. (FBE) is pleased to announce our third annual Juneteenth Celebration 5K taking place on June 19th, 2022, brought to you by We Are Run Series! With over 250 participants nationwide, this 5K commemorates Juneteenth and promotes healthy, active living.

Juneteenth is a time to reflect on Black Americans’ collective resiliency when faced with racial disparities and cultivate knowledge and appreciation of Black American culture.

Proceeds from the Juneteenth Celebration 5K will directly support FBE in creating events that encourage physical fitness, wellness, financial literacy, civic engagement, and Black history for the San Diego military and civilian communities. Chollas Lake Park - 6350 College Grove Dr. San Diego, CA 92115

TIME: 7:00 AM. Race Start: 7:30 AM

TRACKING YOUR RUN/WALK: Participants may track their distance using any Global Positioning System (GPS) fitness device (FitBit, Garmin Vivoactive, Apple Watch, etc.) or phone app (Strava, Map My Run, etc.).

RESULTS: After registering, results can be submitted through your RunSignUp registration profile by clicking on "Submit Virtual Results".

*Virtual participants have until June 30, 2022 to complete the race.
