The Run A Mile In Our Shoes 5K Color Run can be run as an in-person race or as a virtual race. You choose whichever one works for you. 

The in-person races will be held on October 22, 2022 at the University of Southern Mississippi (USM), 118 College Dr., Hattiesburg, MS 39406.  The race will begin at 8:00 am at The Payne Center. The Run A Mile In Our Shoes 5K Color Run will include both a 5k run and 1 mile kids run for those with big hearts but little legs. The 1 mile kids run begins at 8:10 am. All 5K runners will receive a finishers medal at the end of the race. There will be an awards ceremony following the race. For those attending the in-person race, packet pick up will be on Friday, October 21 from 5-7 pm at the Payne Center or you can pick up your packet the morning of the race at the race site. 

For those choosing the virtual race, participants will run their own course and can post their times.  As soon as you register you can run the race. The website will remain open for runners to post their times until October 22, 2022. Participants will post their times via the Run A Mile In Our Shoes website.  Virtual race participants will receive their race t-shirt through the mail during the week of October 23.
