This is a free community run, and donations are optional. Any donations received will be used to fund free events, such as community runs and long runs, which will be hosted by running clubs interested in collaborating with HARRA. As an umbrella running organization in the Houston area, our goal is to support and highlight running clubs in our community.
Established in 1979, the Houston Area Road Runners Association (HARRA) is an umbrella running organization in the Houston area.
One of our key initiatives is to build a strong network among runners by organizing joint events with run leaders, clubs, and/or local businesses. These events offer a platform for runners from different clubs to meet, interact, and enjoy the sport together. Additionally, these events provide an opportunity for running clubs to showcase themselves to potential new members.
