The Hawkins Hustle is a 5k run/walk + kids fun run (ages 10 & under) in memory of Coach Vern Hawkins. The proceeds of this event go to the Coach Hawkins Scholarship Fund, which awards monetary scholarships to graduating seniors from Georgetown High School who competed in cross country and/or track & field. Scholarship recipients are selected by a committee comprised of Coach's former athletes.

Check-in and day-of registration will begin at 7:00 AM at the track.

Kids Fun Run for ages 10 and under following the 5k (approximately 9:00am). Fun Run distance is 0.25 mile - one lap around the track.

Age groups:  10 and under, 11-15, 16-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70+

T-shirts are in limited supply on race day and may not be available to those who do not pre-register by 8/2/2024.
