Start times are flexible from 3 am to 5 pm
Kalama Valley Community Park - Oahu
Choose your distance: Half Marathon, 30K, Marathon, 50K, 50 Miles, 100K, or 100 Miles.
Choose your own start time: EARLY start option is available from 3AM on Saturday morning. Simply show up and sign in with your own start time at the start/finish tent. (Most people start between 5 and 9 am on Sat. morning) Other options include any time until Saturday afternoon at 5 pm.
Location: Kalama Valley Community Park - 555 Kealahou Street Honolulu, HI 96825 - near Koko Crater and Sandy Beach in Hawaii Kai.
A (start/finish/aid station) canopy tent will be set up at the park. Ice, drinks, and basic food will be provided. If you have any special needs, please bring your own. You may leave a drop bag at the canopy tent. It is essentially in the middle of the course.
Street parking: is available in front of Kalama Valley Community Park. Off street parking available in the Kalama Valley Shopping Center approximately 1/2 mile away. Restaurant: Thai Valley Cuisine. Kalama Valley is approximately 12 miles and a 30 minute drive from Waikiki. Uber/Lyft/taxi will go to this park. There is public transportation available. See www.thebus.org for directions and times. The nearest Starbucks is 4 miles and a 10 minute drive in the Koko Marina Center.
Course: Up and down Kealahou St. with two turnarounds. You will first run towards the back of Kalama Valley (mauka) to Ipuai St., then turn around and go towards the ocean (makai) passing the aid station on the way. Turn around at the Kalaniana'ole Hwy. and return to the aid station. Each full loop is 3.34 miles (3 loops is 10 miles) There will be contact and support from other participants. No time limits, however this year we will not be there on Sunday.
Certificates and custom awards to all registered finishers. You will receive a Finishers Certificate with your name and distance upon finishing. A custom award with your name and distance will be mailed to you at a later date.
*Note: This event is a Marathon Maniac, Half Fanatic, and 50 States Half Marathon/Marathon Club qualifier and will count towards your totals. If combined with the Honolulu Marathon, you will qualify for the Marathon Maniacs.
Regular Entry is $25, with discounts available.
Run day entry is the same this year.
