Haiti Kids 5 K

Zion’s Children of Haiti is proud to be planning our 14th annual “Haiti’s Kids 5K” to raise money for the children of Haiti On August 19th 2023 from 8-10am  

Who is Zion's Children of Haiti?

We are a local nonprofit organization that sponsors education for children in Gonaives, Haiti. Fewer than 30% of Haitian children complete the 6th grade. The cost of school is several hundreds of dollars per year, including tuition fees, books and uniforms, an amount that is well out of reach for most families in Haiti.  With the help of individual sponsors, Zion’s Children currently supports 60 students to allow them to continue their education.  We also provide food support for families in the program, supplying them with basic food staples, as most children in Haiti do not receive the nutrition they need to stay at a healthy weight. We run an after-school program and computer lab to teach students new skills.  We have a board of directors with members in Utah, California, Connecticut and in Gonaives.  Your support will help us continue these much-needed programs.
