October 4th, 2025, at the Great Lakes Shipwreck Museum located in Paradise, Michigan.  8am start for the half-marathon and 5k which start and finish at the museum near the roundabout at the end of the parking lot.  All participants will receive a medal and discounted group rate to the Museum on October 4 with proof of bib.  T-Shirts are available with registration ($10 through August 31) and there will be overall and age group awards to follow the race.  A percentage of proceeds and 100% of donations in excess of registration will go towards the restoration of the GLSM Lighthouse.  2025 is also the 50-year anniversary of the sinking of the Edmund Fitzgerald so be sure to check out the exhibit in the museum!

 

Half Marathon Prices: 

February - June: $35 + $10 (T-Shirt Option)

July - August: $45 + $10 (T-Shirt Option)

September: $50 (No T-Shirt Option after *Sept. 7)

October: $60 (No T-Shirt Option), REGISTRATION CLOSES 7:45am Race Day

*Virtual Prices: $40 + ($10 T-Shirt Option through *Sept. 7).  Will receive Bib, Medal, and T-Shirt (if t-shirt deadline met and paid). Submit results on your RunSignUp profile from October 4-18. Your package will be shipped by Oct. 18 or sooner. It is not mandatory to submit results to receive your giveaways. 

 

T-Shirt: The t-shirts will be unisex sized and an option through *Sept. 7 for $10.  There will be limited size and availability for sale at packet pickup for $15 CASH.  

 

5K Prices

Early Packet Pickup: 4-7pm October 3rd, in the main lobby of Paradise Lakefront Lodge, 8112 N M-123, Paradise, MI, 49768. 

 

Race Day Packet Pickup: 6:30-7:45am near the start/finish area.

 

Overall Awards: 1st Place Gender/Master (40+)/Grand Master (60+)

 

Age Group Awards: 1st Place 0-9, 10-14, 15-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70-79, 80+

 

Course: Start/Finish from the roundabout area near the end of the parking lot.  Flat and Fast.  Out and back on Whitefish Point Road.  A minimum of 4 aid stations with water/Gatorade evenly spaced for the half marathon and 1 aid station for the 5K.
