Event details

The Golden Lights Foundation, a 501(c)3 nonprofit, is proud to welcome runners back to the 2nd Annual Golden Lights Half-Marathon & Fun Run this fall! Block off Sunday, September 17th, 2023 on your calendars. The half-marathon will begin at 8:30am and the Fun Run starting shortly after at 8:45. The mission of Golden Lights Foundation is to fund pediatric cancer research using a targeted, project and doctor-centric approach, and 100% of your registration, not including signup fees, supports The Golden Lights Foundation and it's mission.

Starting and finishing in the picturesque and historic Greenwich Point (Tod's Point) Park in Greenwich, CT, this half-marathons' first few miles are unlike any other race, bringing runners to the edge of the Long Island Sound and Greenwich's beautiful harbors. The race continues through the quaint neighborhoods of Old Greenwich and Riverside, until concluding back in the park along the water's edge. The Fun Run will loop around Tod's Point, where you will see spectacular views of Long Island Sound.

As a certified USATF course, the Golden Lights Half-Marathon is a perfect training or qualifying opportunity for the NYC Marathon, as well as a fun and challenging race for anyone who wants support an important cause such as pediatric cancer research. As a bonus, 100% of your registration not including signup fees, goes to The Golden Lights Foundation, a 501(c)3 charitable organization, and is tax-deductible!
