Glen Carbon Covered Bridge 5K

Join us for the Glen Carbon Covered Bridge 5K held on June 17th, 2023 at 8:00am. 

Runners will run down the MCT Ronald J Foster Heritage Trail for a flat and fast, out-and-back route. This year's event will only have a 5K and 1 Mile Fun Run/Walk (non-timed).

*Finishers medals for all kids finishers in 1 Mile Fun Run!
*Plan to return to the Glen Carbon Homecoming in the evening, to ride rides, eat, play games and browse the vendor tents!
*Goshen Triple Crown Series! 3 local races, all the swag and an additional Goshen Triple Crown Series finishers medal. The Series includes: Run for Bonifest 5K, Route 66 10K and the Covered Bridge Run 5K.

Shirt deadline is May 30th. 

Event details and schedule

Early Packet Pickup:
June 16th - Packet pickup at Glen Carbon Village Hall from 3PM-6PM
June 17th Event Schedule:
6:30am-8:00am - Race day registration and Bib & Shirt pickup
8:00am - 5K run starts
9:00am - 1 Mile run starts
9:20am - Awards ceremony on stage in front of the Covered Bridge.
Awards: Top 3 Male/Female Overall and Top 3 Male/Female in each age category - 12-U, 13-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, 70+
