Gemma's Lyme Disease and Obesity Awareness Virtual 5k Fun Run for the Cure

Welcome to Gemma's Lyme Disease and Obesity Awareness Virtual 5k Fun Run for the Cure, an empowering event dedicated to raising awareness and funds for Lyme disease and obesity, all while honoring the resilient spirit of Gemma the Pitbull.

Gemma's journey has been one of strength and determination. Her lifelong struggle with diverticulitis, obesity, and psychiatric issues have only motivated her to give back to the community. This year, she was diagnosed with Lyme disease and a UTI. Now, it's our turn to join her in the fight against these health issues, spreading awareness and support across Southeastern Ohio.

This virtual 5K allows participants to run, walk, or jog anytime, anywhere throughout the month of July. Whether you're pounding the pavement in your neighborhood, hitting the trails in a nearby park, or even completing your 5K on a treadmill at home, you're making a difference.
