We cordially invite you to participate in our 3rd Annual Gainesville Unity 5K Run/Walk!

This event will raise money to provide scholarships to local high school students going to a community college or university. The event will kick off at 7:00 am. We would like all participants in place at 7:30 am to get instructions and partake in the a brief presentation. The Gainesville Unity 5K Run/Walk will start at 08:00 am. Awards will be given for top qualifiers of the race. All contributions will help to fund scholarships and defray the cost of organizing the event.

All contributions are tax deductible through our 501(c)(3) foundation, House of Alpha Education Foundation, Inc.

 Any contribution/donation amount level will be accepted and appreciated.

5K COURSE

This fast, somewhat flat course will feature very few turns and a grass path the whole way! Great for runners and walkers alike!  

HYDRATION / FUELING / SANITATION

Hydration will be provided in the form of water and Gatorade before and after the race. There will be no refreshments on the race path. 

Sanitation Station 

Hand sanitizers will be provided and social distancing is highly encouraged in order to mitigate the spread of COVID-19.

PACKET-PICKUP AND PARKING

Packet Pick up 
Registration will be available online until 11:59 PM on 09/20/24.  
Packet Pick-Up will be available race morning at the event.  

Register by Wednesday, September 4th, 11:59 PM, if you want the option of selecting a tank top.                                                                                                          Race tank tops will not be available to anyone who registers after September 4th, 2024.

Parking is available at the entrance and various locations around the site.
