A portion of our proceeds will support Send Me Inc., a local organization right here in Belmont County that provides a variety of services for local people in need with things such as meals, clothes, furniture and any other evident needs. Send Me Inc.'s mission is to "walk in love and display the love of Christ" by helping people through giving material items that will benefit and increase life to those in need. Send Me Inc. offers their time to volunteer at organizations that help better humanity, and by sharing the love of Christ through creating outreaches that will put God on display. You can find them on Facebook!
We encourage all participants to bring any of the following items (new) for the Send Me Inc. Ministry for people in our area: chapstick, socks, gloves, scarves, beanies, lotion hand sanitizer, razors, shaving cream, soap, hand warmers
Sign up by July 14th to receive a t-shirt! There is not an option to not receive a shirt, so when you receive yours at the race feel free to donate it to someone else if you wish.
Race Award Groups: 1st and 2nd place medal for the following age groups in both walking and running categories for male and female: 6-10, 11-18, 19-34, 35-54, 55-64, 65+. There is also a trophy for overall male runner, male walker, female runner, and female walker.
We want to inform our participants that the course has a few large hills. Look at the course map here: https://www.alltrails.com/explore/map/map-january-17-2023-1e14bfe
There will be a photographer at the race! So be on the lookout for a link on the East Richland Friends Sports Ministry Facebook page after the race to look at the pictures.
