This 3.1 mile walk and run is a celebratory event that honors the journey to freedom for the previously enslaved men, women, and children from various diasporas. Proceeds from the race will provide scholarships for Swim Lessons and Water Aerobics to combat cardiovascular disease in the African American community. This event will start and finish at the Woodlawn recreation center on June 14th at 10am. Register online to get your 5k packet before the race.
