We are planning BOTH an in-person as well as a virtual event for those who wish to participate from near and far over race weekend!!

REGISTRATION opens March 16th at 9 am! Spaces are LIMITED in each event!

Your registration helps support over 11 000 kids that use the Thames Valley Children’s Center!

Refunds:

Your registration is non-refundable. We are pleased to offer participants an optional refund registration service that can be purchased for an additional fee upon registration. This refund service is in the event that you cannot participate and does not cover the cancellation of the in-person event as stated below.

Cancellation:

In the event that the in-person races should be held in an adapted or alternative way, including a virtual race for reasons beyond the control of the organizing committee, such as the weather or a pandemic situation including covid-19 and/or other variants, no refund will be possible. You will still receive your race kit and be able to participate in the virtual event. We hope our participants can understand that we are a non-profit event and the purchasing of things for the event begins in the fall with the anticipation of funds from registration. We will do everything we can to have safety measures in place for an in-person event, however, we do not have control if gathering restrictions are put in place by our Middlesex-London Health Unit or the Government of Ontario.

Race distance change, transfers, or deferral:

Provided the events are not sold out, you may change your distance until Sunday, August 21st. This may require an increased fee. There will not be the processing of refunds to change to shorter distances. In the event that you can't participate in a race you have registered for, you can transfer your registration to another person, to race in your place until Sunday, August 21st. It is possible to defer your registration to the next year up until Thursday, August 18th for a $25 fee. If you choose to switch from the in-person event to a virtual event, this will also need to be done by contacting the Race Director before August 18th, 2022. We hope our participants can understand that we order items for the event and race kits early in the year and send all of the printing to M&T printing group by Monday, August 22nd for the September 18th event. We try to accommodate and be as flexible as we can with distance changes, injuries, cancelations, etc. until 1-month prior to the event. After August 22nd, please consider your registration similar to a concert or other event ticket that cannot be changed or refunded (unless you added the registration insurance when you signed up, in that case, please fill out a claim on the Reg Shield website. ALL proceeds from the event go to the programs and services at the Thames Valley Children's Centre.
