Prepare to hit your goals for Fall of 2025 by elevating your "running IQ".
Youth summer running IQ camp is presented by Elevate Training, Gulf Coast Runners, and Coach Justin Moomaw.  "Coach Moo" is a Gulf Coast Runners board member and a level 1 certified running coach with USA Track & Field.  Coach Brad is his protege and working with the younger athletes. This camp is in its 10th year of preparing distance runners with the tools needed to "take the next step" and hit their potential.  The focus is to provide knowledge and a plan to tackle summer running, with an emphasis on producing for your cross country team in the fall.  Check out the flyer below for more details and the topics covered!

The price of camp includes a giveaway (usually a t-shirt or backpack or equivalent item)

This price INCLUDES A FREE ENTRY into the GCR Firecracker 5k!!  Coach Moomaw will share a code with all campers interested in running (not required!).  So 4 days of camp with a 5th day that ends with a 5k...... Let's do it!

ELEMENTARY RUN CAMP WITH GCR YOUTH TEAMS' "COACH BRAD"!!
This will take place at the same location and time, but totally separate from our middle school experience.  Whether beginners or seasoned GCR Youth Team members, this camp will show kids how to make running fun through activities that keep them busy..... and tire them out :)     Campers will need to be sure they have shoes that they can tie and independent bathroom skills.   A snack will be served daily.

Gulf Coast Runners is proud to support and endorse USA Track & Field level 1 certified coach, Justin Moomaw and his training company ELEVATE.  Coach Moomaw has worked with local youth for the past 20 years and he annually produces teams that place in the top 5 in the FLYRA middle school state cross country meet.  He has coached state champion runners and his teams annually finish in among the top 5 schools in the state.
