WELCOME to Resurrecting Lives Foundation's (RLF) 1st Annual Egg-ceptional 5k run/walk! 

RLF encourages participants to run/walk while carrying a raw EGG. The egg signifies the brain with the outer shell (skull) being hard but still leaving the inner contents very vulnerable to being shaken or shattered.  You may carry your egg any way you choose during the event. We would love for you to send in pictures or videos of your run/walk with your egg. 

The consequences caused by Traumatic Brain Injury (TBI) are unforgiving, and include substance abuse, unemployment, homelessness, incarceration, and even suicide. We must protect our veterans' brains and immediately provide resources for rehabilitation if they are injured in order to prevent the consequences, especially, the final consequence of untreated TBI: SUICIDE.
 
Resurrecting Lives Foundation is a 501(c)(3) based in Dublin, OH and San Diego, California. Our mission is to coordinate and advocate for the successful transition to a post-military career and life for veterans with TBI. An estimated 25% of US veterans who served in the Global War on Terror struggle with TBI - 750,000 in number and counting.

The 5k run/walk will take place Saturday, April 12th, 2025

Registration will open on Friday, February 14th at 8 am and will close on Saturday, April 12th at 10 am.

Participants will be provided a Bib with their name and race number and have the opportunity to print and wear it for the 5k.

Participants will submit their times and photos on this website or can submit their photos to info@resurrectinglives.org
