This 5K Breast Cancer Awareness Walk 2024 marks the first of its kind during Breast Cancer Awareness Month in Portage, Indiana. The proceeds go to the nonprofit Dr Peggy Winston Pritchett's Breast Cancer Foundation, Inc.501(c) 3 dba Dr Peggy's Karaoke for the Cure. The funds raised are used for the purpose of purchasing
wigs, scarves and skin care items to be donated to women who have suffered hair loss due to receiving chemotherapy as a treatment for breast cancer. The donated items are distributed to patients and survivors through Northwest Cancer Treatment Centers in Northwest Indiana. 

We will have small gifts for 5K participants (including wrist bands and water).
