Be part of someone's life who is about to change the world! The Dollars for Scholars 5K is a celebration for our local community college, Georgia Highlands. GHC is investing in students and the community. This 5K is an opportunity to raise money for scholarships to financially help students complete their degree. Hosted by the GHC Run Club, we are running to make our future brighter.

Georgia Highlands' mission is to provide access to excellent educational opportunities for the intellectual, cultural and physical development of a diverse population. Since 1970, Georgia Highlands College has served the Northwest Georgia communities. 

The race will be on the Floyd campus around the beautiful Paris Lake. It will begin on the soccer field run through campus take a lap around the lake and finish where we started. There is plenty of parking on campus and the views are gorgeous.

Awards

Awards: 1st, 2nd, and 3rd OVERALL (Male & Female)  

Medals will also be awarded for 1st, 2nd, 3rd place (Male & Female) in the following Age Groups:
*14&Under, 15-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, 70&Over
(Please note: There will be no “double dipping” in road-racing awards! So the overall winners will not be eligible for age group awards.)
