Dandelion Run - 5k / 10k Trail Race
Sub-events Details
10k Run
5k Run
The Dandelion Trail Run is a 5 and 10-kilometer entry-level race benefiting Camp Mount Luther. Runners decide on race day if they want to do a 5K or 10K (a double loop of the 5K). All miles are marked, and there’s one water stop on the course. Timing is done electronically. The run was named in memory of the Rev. Glenn Heasley, whose favorite “flower” was the dandelion. The 10k distance is part of the 2024 Rocksylvania Trail Racing Series (Sandstone Division).
Kids Fun Run! The age groups are 6 and under and 7 – 10. Special awards will be presented to every participant in the fun run.
Again this year! 1 mile fun walk! Same registration fees and amenities apply. Walk will be on a dirt road.
Awards for top male and female finisher for each distance immediately following the race. Finisher awards for all finishers.
You must be registered by midnight, August 11th to receive a hoodie!
There will be no changing of race distance after the race starts. If you registered for the 10k and aren't sure you can finish it on race day, please inform us and change to the 5k prior to race start. 10k runners who stop after one loop will be a DNF.
