Chasing Santa, a Christmas Sweater 5K & 1 Mile Pup Walk

Time to dust off those Christmas sweaters, Santa hats and jingle bells. 

Start off the Christmas season with a 5k as you chase Santa through the streets of Weatherford.

Don't feel like completing the full course?  Want to include your 4 legged friend?

We have you covered! Join the 1 Mile Pup Walk and Fun Run with your best friend.

We will start and finish at the BCM across the street from SWOSU. Address is 719 North Bradley.

Be sure to show up early and come dressed to impress! We will be having a Christmas Sweater Competition before the 5K.

There will be prizes for the top competitors in 3 different categories:

1. The Ugliest Christmas Sweater
2. The Best Homemade Sweater
3. The Best Doggone Christmas Sweater (4 legged friends only)

The morning's timeline of events:

• 7:30 - Registration opens for those who did not preregister
• 9:30  (sharp) - Race registration closes 
• 9:30 - Christmas Sweater Competition
• 10:00 - 5K race begins
• 10:10 - 1 Mile Pup Walk and Fun Run begins.
