Team moms!

Come on out and support the Yorktown Husker Varsity, JV, and Freshmen Football Team on September 18th, 2022. Check-in begins at 8:30 and the race will start at 9:00. This event is a family-friendly run/walk 5K. All proceeds will go to the Varsity and JV Football teams to offset the cost of participating in 7 on 7 games at other schools, Big Man Challenges, and other events throughout the season. 

Funds raised from this event benefit students and interscholastic athletic programs through the club's fundraising efforts. Money raised allows the club to support the athletic department with purchases that enhance the current programs.  Some of the past purchases have included:

wrestling mats, 
football sleds,
weight room equipment, 
video and editing equipment, 
ice machines, 
team recognition banners, 
scoring table
sound equipment
mats for the track team
ultrasound machine for the trainer

The Club also helps to sponsor the YHS senior Athletes Awards Dinner where senior student-athletes receive awards and are handed out thousands of dollars in scholarships.
