The 2022 5K is offering three ways to be #BrittenStrong

In Person 5K: Sunday – April 24th
The course features Montreat College's beautiful Black Mountain campus, including the college's XC course, the prohibition-era Manor House, and gorgeous wooded trails flowing with creeks. The Start/Finish line is on the Montreat College Track.

DIY On Course 5K: Thursday – April 14th > Sunday - April 24th 
The #BrittenStrong 5K course will be marked and open from Thursday April 14th until Noon on Sunday 24th. Registered participants can run/walk the course at a time that is convenient for them. While not required – times can be upload for inclusion in the DIY On Course 5K results. Overall prizes will be awarded to the top 3 Overall M/F. Instructions on "How to submit your DIY times" are under the FAQ tab above.

DIY Anywhere 5K: Saturday – April 16th > Sunday - April 24th
This “Do It Yourself” Event will enable you to run/walk at any time and in any location that is convenient. for you. Run around the block, on trails, go down to the track (12.5 laps = 5K), or even run on a treadmill. You don't even have to live in WNC - so please invite friends and family both near and far to join the fun and support the cause. While not required – you can submit your time for inclusion in the online “Just For Fun” Results. We will collect times beginning Friday April 15th until Monday the 25th. There will be No Overall or Age Group Awards.  Instructions on "How to submit your DIY times" are found under the FAQ tab above.

Entry Fees: Adults: $30         Youth (13-17): $15      Kids (1-12): $10

Stuff: All registered participants will receive a #BrittenStrong water bottle. 

The race is being coordinated by Montreat College Exercise Science Program
