It’s time to lace up those running shoes and make a difference in the fight against breast cancer. Join us for a special run/walk event that not only promotes physical health but also raises awareness and funds for a local family affected by this devastating disease.

Breast cancer is a topic that hits close to home for so many of us. It’s touched the lives of our mothers, sisters, friends, and coworkers. It’s a disease that doesn’t discriminate based on age, race, or socio-economic status. That’s why it’s important for us to come together as a community to show our support and solidarity for those fighting this battle.

On June 2nd, we will gather at MAUHS from 9 to 11 AM. Multiple running events for adults and children will be held on the track during this time including a 5k run, 5k run/walk, mile, and 100m dash. There will be prizes for the top finishers in the running events. FAT Timing will be provided. We will also have kid-friendly activities and education stations. DCF will be holding a 50/50 raffle. It’s important to come together as a community to show our support and love for those affected by breast cancer. It’s about spreading awareness and education about the importance of early detection and screening. It’s about celebrating the strength and resilience of survivors and honoring the memories of those who have lost their battle.
