UPDATED BOILERMAKER 2025 INFORMATION (as of 9/17/24)!
In honor of our Hall of Fame Race Director, Jim Stasaitis', birthday, we are hosting a special, one week, Open registration period.
This special period will begin at 10:00am on Monday, September 23rd and will remain open until 11:59pm on Sunday, September 29th. It is open to any and all interested participants.
Join us on Sunday, July 13, 2025 and help us celebrate Jim's birthday by taking advantage of this brief registration period!
Information on future rounds of registration periods, race caps, pricing, general rules, etc. will be announced over the coming weeks and months.
As always, keep a close eye on your emails and stay tuned to the Boilermaker’s social media (Facebook & Instagram) pages and website for updates on race bib availability, impending pricing tier changes, etc.!
REGISTRATION INFORMATION:
- Priority Registration # 1 opened up on Monday, August 19th at 10:00 am EDT and will be exclusive to those eligible through 11:59 pm EDT on Sunday, September 2nd. (Anyone who registered for the 2024 Boilermaker 15K or 5K are considered eligible and will receive emails from the Boilermaker during the week of August 12th to remind them).
- Open Registration # 1 opens up on Monday, September 23rd at 10:00 am EDT and is available for any interested participant through 11:59 pm EDT on Sunday, September 29th.

RACE CAPS:
- The cap for the 15K race presented by Excellus BlueCross BlueShield will be announced in the coming months.
- The cap for the 5K race presented by Utica National Insurance Group will be 4,500 participants.
PRICING:
- This is a tiered pricing event with limited capacities, so register early to save money and ensure your spot(s).
- See "Show Registration Details" on the "Event Info" page on the registration site for complete details.
GENERAL RULES:
- All Boilermaker events are held rain or shine.
- Walkers, animals, skateboards, in-line skates, roller skates, bicycles and baby joggers/strollers are prohibited.
- There are no deferrals and no refunds available.
- Drop downs from the 15K to the 5K are limited (500 available) and are on a first come, first served basis.
PUBLIC HEALTH PROTOCOL:
- The Boilermaker will follow local & federal public health guidelines in place come race day. As of today, there are no specific restrictions in place.
- Please stay tuned to our communications via email and social media for any potential updates.
- By registering for this event, you agree to abide by the health and safety measures in effect at the time of the event.
- Per the Boilermaker’s policies, there are no deferrals and no refunds.
RACE SAFETY:
- The course is restricted to registered athletes and official race personnel.
- We strongly discourage the use of headphones in both ears for your safety as well as the safety of others.
