Next Opportunity Events is going back to the Hutton-Loyd Tree Farm for the first annual Bluegrass Ultra Trail Race!

This 5(ish) mile loop gives runners of all skill and experience levels the chance to see the rolling Appalachian foothills in a fun, inviting, and scenic setting. Join us for some running, bonfires by the BIG BARN, sick swag, and more!

The Low Down

• The Bluegrass Ultra is a 5.3 mile loop with approximately 920’ of elevation gain (and equal descent) per loop.
• 3 distance options: 50K (6 laps), 25K (3 laps), 5 Mile (1 lap)
• A private tree farm with trails all to ourselves!
• Shelter in the Big Barn and a bonfire blazing at base camp throughout the race!
• 1 water stop on course at the 3 mile mark. Water and Sword only.
• Laps run in alternating directions, “washing machine style”.
