We are excited to invite you to the 5th Annual Blue Hope Colon Cancer Awareness 5K!  Join us on Saturday, March 29th, at the Miramar Regional Park! The 5K is a chipped-timed race. Awards will be provided to the top 3 overall and age groups. We encourage you to wear blue for the cause!

 

To celebrate the 5th Anniversary of the Blue Hope 5K, we're offering an exclusive discount for group registrations! Register as a group of 5 and get $15 off at checkout, or gather a group of 10 to save $30.

 

The proceeds from this event will support two essential programs of We Stand Together, Inc. The Natalie Marc Surpris Scholarship Fund provides financial assistance to undergraduate college students who are battling cancer themselves or have a parent affected by cancer or who has passed away due to the disease. Additionally, the We Stand Together Financial Assistance Program provides emergency funding to help cover living expenses for cancer patients undergoing active treatment.

 

We hope you will join us as we come together to encourage, uplift, and support those in our community impacted by cancer. Invite your family, friends, neighbors, and coworkers to join us. Whether you form and run with a team or join individually, we thank you for taking a STAND with us in the fight for a GREAT cause!

EVENT DETAIL

Event shirts are included in the registration fee. The deadline to register and receive a free t-shirt is Friday, March 15, 2025. Participants registered after this date are not guaranteed to receive a shirt in their requested size.

 

Race Day Schedule:

6:30 a.m. - Registration/Check-in and Packet Pick-up

7:00 a.m. - Opening Ceremony and race warm-up session with a fitness instructor and DJ

7:30 a.m. - 5K Race begins (Timed Race option is Available) Finisher Medals will be provided to all participants

There will be a children's corner with entertainment, fun field events for all participants, food/health vendors, and more.

 

Pre Race Packet-Pick Up:

Participants are encouraged to pick up their race packet on Friday, March 28th.
