The second annual Blackhawk Middle School 5K and 1 mile Fun Run is a fundraiser to benefit the students and staff at Blackhawk Middle School. The PTSA supports many groups and events at Blackhawk. The PTSA at Blackhawk is a volunteer based organization looking to improve our children’s public education. Every dollar raised through donations and fundraising goes back into the school to improve activities for the students. For instance this year, the PTSA is helping to start new clubs to get more students involved in extracurricular activities, helping to purchase athletic uniforms and supporting robotics and drama clubs. We help to support the excellent staff at Blackhawk through various staff appreciation activities.
This is the first time, post Covid, we are holding such an event and are hoping to make this an annual fundraiser to help bring the community together. 

Run will take place on the grounds of Blackhawk Middle School and finish on the track. Portions of the race will be cross country.
