The 2nd Annual BKM 4 Life Foundation Black Maternal Health 5K is a timed event hosted on the campus of SSM Health DePaul Hospital – St. Louis, a proud sponsor of this initiative. The race course features a double loop around the hospital perimeter and shines a light on the challenges and triumphs Black moms face during pregnancy, delivery, and postpartum.

Black women are 3–4 times more likely to die during childbirth. This fundraising event raises awareness and drives action to improve care for mothers and babies. Proceeds will directly benefit The Family Birthplace at SSM Health DePaul Hospital, supporting programs and resources that make a difference in maternal health outcomes.
