Bernie & Leo’s Birthday Bash 5K

Come celebrate the birthday of Bernie Cornett (87th) and Leo McMillen (88th) as we honor these local running legends.

CHARITY PARTNERS  We have selected charity partners based on the recommendations of Bernie and Leo.  Bernie has selected the Hindman Settlement School which is performing great work in Eastern Kentucky especially related to the recent devastating flooding.  Bernie grew up in Hindman, Kentucky.  Leo has selected Special Olympics Kentucky as his charity of choice.  Special Olympics has been making a difference in our community for many years.

PACKET PICKUP  We will hold our packet pickup on race morning at Coldstream Park from 7:45-9AM.

AWARDS   We will present awards for the Overall Top 3 M/F Finishers as well as Top 3 M/F in 5-year age groups (0-14, 15-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, 70-74, 75-79, 80-85 and 86-90.
