The moderately challenging, rustic course winds through 230 acres of wooded nature trails and access roads, all on the grounds of the Howell Nature Center. After the race, participants are welcome to explore the Wild Wonders Wildlife Park and play in Alexandria's NatureScape.

No strollers allowed on the 5K course. For the safety of all guests and our resident animals, NO DOGS ALLOWED.

5K Trail Run: Special awards for Overall and Masters male & female. Additional prizes for top finishers in each age group. Please select the gender category you most identify with.

• Age groups: 6 & under, 7-10, 11-14, 15-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, and 70+
