Get ready to lace up those running shoes and join your AREC pals for an incredible fundraiser happening on December 17th at the Ocean and 54th  on the Claremont side of the parking lot!

We've got a range of options for you—whether you're up for a 5K, 10K, 15K, or even a Half Marathon, this event's got something for everyone. Best of all, every step you take will be in support of AREC programs!

And here's the twist: this race coincides with the festive High Tide Run Christmas Cookie Caper! High Tides is generously allowing us to use their race start, timing clock and marked course. So, we will be joining them for this super fun event. 

AREC's got a special check-in separate from High Tides at the AREC tent.  

Oh, and did we mention the goodies at the finish line? Yep, we've got cookies and snacks waiting for you to refuel after you crush those miles! So mark your calendars, gather your running squad, and let's make this fundraiser one for the books!

Bib Pick-Up and Start Times:

Bib Pick Up: 6:30 am near the start line

Half Marathon Start Time: 7:00 am

5k, 10k, 15k Start Time:  7:30 am

Start Location: 5400 E. Ocean Blvd. Long Beach, CA US 90803

 

Street Parking is free and lot parking is $2.00 per hour. Use the passport app to pay. 

The 5k, 10, & 15k will all run the same course. The turn around is located at mile 1.55 marked with a runner turn sign, large green flag, and chalk.

5k will run 1 out and back lap

10k will run two out and back lap

15k will run 3 out and back lap

The Half Marather Runners will run 3 out and back laps

The half marathon turn is located at mile 2.19 and marked with a large blue flag, runner turn sign, chalk, and small blue and orange survey flags.
