<h5><span style="color:#e67e23"><b>Back in 2004, at one of the the first meetings of the newly formed Uwharrie Running Club, Peter Asciutto, Derek Blalock, Matt Greene, Lee Allen and Joanne Rinker met at the Firehouse Cafe in Downtown Albemarle and put together our plan for the 1st ever Beach Blast 5K. We asked ourselves &#34;What makes a great race?&#34;</b></span></h5>
