The start of the marathon takes place inside the Olympic Stadium. The start of the half marathon and the Echo 10 km are in front of the Stadium. The finish of all distances will be inside the Olympic Stadium (in front of the seats of honour). The course is fast, flat and free of traffic. The route takes you through the old city centre (a.o. Rijksmuseum) and the famous Vondelpark. Digital clocks will be positioned at intervals along the course. There will also be spunge- and refreshment stations every 5 km, which will supply water and AA-Drink (an isotone sports drink).
